Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by Melanie Stienstra-Pierucci, trading as Mel's LifeLab, based in Zurich, Switzerland. By booking or engaging any coaching service, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Mel's LifeLab offers integrative health coaching services including but not limited to 1-on-1 coaching sessions, group programmes, wellness consultations, and related digital or written materials. All services are for general wellness purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Not a Medical Service

Health coaching is a collaborative wellness practice, not a licensed medical or therapeutic service. Melanie Stienstra-Pierucci is not a doctor, psychologist, or registered dietitian. Nothing discussed in sessions should be interpreted as medical advice. You are encouraged to consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical concerns.

3. Booking and Confirmation

Sessions and programmes are confirmed upon receipt of payment or written agreement via email. You will receive a confirmation with session details. It is your responsibility to ensure the details are correct and to notify us of any errors promptly.

4. Payment

All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is accepted by:

• Cash (in-person sessions)
• Bank transfer (details provided upon booking)
• TWINT

Payment for single sessions is due at the time of the session. Payment for programmes is due in full at the start of the programme, unless a payment plan has been explicitly agreed in writing.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling by the Client

We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellation with more than 48 hours notice: session may be rescheduled at no charge
• Cancellation with 24–48 hours notice: 50% of the session fee is charged
• Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice or no-show: 100% of the session fee is charged

To cancel or reschedule, please contact us by email or phone as soon as possible.

6. Cancellation by Mel's LifeLab

In the rare event that we must cancel a session, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer a full rescheduling at no additional cost or a full refund for that session.

7. Client Responsibility

By engaging coaching services, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• You take full responsibility for your own health decisions and outcomes
• You will inform your coach of any relevant medical conditions, medications, or changes in your health
• You understand that results from coaching are not guaranteed and vary between individuals

8. Confidentiality

All personal and health information shared during coaching is treated as strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without your written consent, except where required by law.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials provided as part of coaching services — including written plans, guides, recipes, and programmes — are the intellectual property of Mel's LifeLab and are for your personal use only. They may not be reproduced, shared, or sold without prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Mel's LifeLab shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from the use of coaching services or information provided, beyond the value of the session or programme fee paid.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
